Comfortable and Spacious
“I stayed in a one-bedroom apartment that was surprisingly roomy for NYC standards. The bedroom had two double beds that were very comfortable, and there was ample closet space for our belongings. My daughters and I were thrilled to have a 'home away from home' feel to our stay.” view full review
Good Water Pressure
“The bathroom may have looked a bit worn, but let me tell you, the shower had fantastic water pressure and was nice and hot. After we returned from our daily adventures, taking a shower there felt rejuvenating-definitely a great end to our long days exploring New York.” view full review
Massive TV for Cozy Nights
“One of the standout features for me was the giant 50-inch plasma TV in the living area. It provided an excellent way to unwind after a day full of activities. Accessing various channels, including high-def options, made our evenings in just as entertaining as our outings.” view full review
Kitchenette Convenience
“Having a small kitchenette in the apartment was such a bonus. While I initially planned to dine out, it was great to have the flexibility to prepare breakfast and snacks at home, which also saved us some money. I loved grabbing some groceries nearby and making it feel like a true NYC apartment experience.” view full review

My stay at 254 East Vacation was overall enjoyable. The apartment was clean and quiet, situated in a great location near Central Park and local shops. However, the lack of internet in the rooms was a slight inconvenience. I appreciate the value for the price and the cozy atmosphere that really made me feel like a local. 🌆😊
I loved my spacious room with comfy beds and ample closet space, though the bathroom was a bit worn.
The check-in process was straightforward with no staff interactions required, which I found convenient.
Perfectly located just blocks from Central Park and close to the Theatre District, making it easy to explore NYC.
The kitchenette allowed me to prepare my own meals, which saved money and made my stay more enjoyable.
The lack of an elevator was a workout, but the amenities in the apartment were clean and functional.

I had a mixed experience during my stay. The location was great, and I loved the vibrant neighborhood, but the cleanliness of the room left much to be desired. I was really disappointed with the state of the bathroom and the kitchenware.
The room was not clean, with dusty carpets and unkempt corners. The bathroom had mold and a dirty bath mat.
I didn't have many interactions with the service, but the kitchen supplies were lacking and unpleasant.
The location was excellent, close to nice markets and within walking distance of key attractions.
The nearby market offered a great selection of food and supplies, enhancing the experience.
The facilities could use a thorough cleaning and maintenance, especially the kitchen and bathroom.

During my stay at 254 East Vacation, I appreciated the spacious back room set-up, perfect for families. Although the amenities were lacking, the location was unbeatable and a great value for New York. The internet access was unreliable inside the room, which was inconvenient. Overall, I enjoyed my stay but there were definitely areas needing improvement.
The back room with two double beds was spacious and family-friendly, but the front rooms were trendier and renovated. The overall comfort was decent.
The service felt minimal, offering independence but lacking full hospitality. The owner was helpful at check-in, but that was about it.
The location in the Upper East Side was fantastic. Just a few blocks from the subway, with numerous restaurants nearby, including a good Turkish spot.
I loved the dining options nearby. Lukes Lobster was a tasty find just a short walk away, along with great delis and bistros.
Facilities were basic. Internet access was mostly available in the hallway, and there was a lack of daily maid service.

My stay at 254 East Vacation was a mixed bag. I loved the charm and location of the place, which made it easy to explore the city. However, I encountered some issues with the room's condition and amenities that were disappointing.
I stayed in a second-floor suite, which was cozy but quite cramped. The room had two double beds and a small sitting area with a fold-out couch, but it felt outdated and not as clean as I would have hoped.
The hotel manager, Danny, was really helpful with check-in and check-out, which I appreciated. But there was no daily maid service, which I found a bit lacking.
The location was fantastic, right in the heart of the Upper East Side. It was just a short walk to Central Park and many restaurants, making it convenient for getting around the city.
I didn't dine in but heard about homemade cakes available, which sounded enticing. However, the kitchen was too small for anything elaborate.
The facilities were minimal, and while the air conditioning worked well, the outdated bathroom was a letdown. And the internet connection was pretty poor during my stay.

I enjoyed staying at 254 East Vacation, where I felt like I had my own place in the Upper East Side. The location is fantastic, surrounded by plenty of dining options and close to public transport. However, the bathroom could use some upgrades. Overall, it was a great value in a city where prices can be sky-high.
The one-bedroom unit was clean and bright, featuring two comfortable double beds and a small kitchen area. However, the bathroom felt a bit dark and dingy, needing some updates.
Danny, the caretaker, was accommodating and made check-in easy, but there's minimal on-site support given the lack of reception.
I loved the neighborhood's charm, with tree-lined streets and lots of restaurants within walking distance, plus quick access to the subway.
I found plenty of nearby dining options, especially loved the Turkish restaurant next door; also, delis and grocers are conveniently close.
While the kitchen was small, it had all the basics I needed. The unit was clean, but the hallway and exterior could use some sprucing up.
